Scholarships & Awards
JUST ANNOUNCED - HUMANITARIAN MISSION
This scholarship will provide partial funding for ILSPAN members participating in a humanitarian mission. Each member requesting assistance should download and complete the application and submit it with the requested documentation for consideration.
FALL CONFERENCE
One scholarship for complimentary registration to Fall Conference. All members attending the conference are eligible in a random drawing held during the general membership meeting. The member must be present to win.
SPRING CONFERENCE
One scholarship for complimentary registration to Spring Conference in the Chicago area. All members attending the conference are eligible in a random drawing held during the general membership meeting. The member must be present to win.
ASPAN NATIONAL CONFERENCE
General member scholarships available to defer the cost of the conference, based on a point system. Request an application from the ILSPAN Vice President. Information available in the Fall newsletter. Click here to download point sheet.
CPAN/CAPA CERTIFICATION
Two scholarships available for successful completion of the CPAN and CAPA exams. New CPAN's and CAPA's can request an application from the ILSPAN Vice-President. CPAN/CAPA RECERTIFICATION
Two scholarships available for successful recertification of CPAN and CAPA. An application can be requested from the ILSPAN Vice-President by all CPAN's and CAPA's who recertified in 2010. Scholarships will be presented in Fall 2011 Click here to download point sheet.
PANAW AWARD
An award is presented to the perianesthesia nurse and/or unit who sends in the winning entry for PANAW. Information is available in the Fall newsletter. The application is in the Winter newsletter.
JAN RIDDER EXCELLENCE IN CLINICAL PRACTICE AWARD
This award honors the perianesthesia nurse who exemplifies excellence in clinical practice and is named after ILSPAN Past President, Jan Ridder. Information is available in the Fall newsletter. Click here to download the nomination packet.
RECRUITER OF THE YEAR
This award recognizes that member whose dedication to recruitment of new members has most benefited ILSPAN by recruitng the highest number of new members (Minimum number of 4). It is based on the ASPAN Member-Get-A-Member campaign and time frame, January 1st to December 31st. The recipient receives a one-year ASPAN & ILSPAN membrship.
